Loyalty and Centennial Fund
The
Loyalty and Centennial Development funds are the
endowment funds of the Fraternity. These funds
provide mortgage loans to house corporations of
chapters acquiring, building or renovating their
shelters. The majority of the Fraternity's
shelters have received financing assistance at
one time or another during their existence from
these funds. Assets of these funds currently
total approximately $4.9 million. At any given
time during the year these funds will be
providing mortgage loan financing to 30 of our
shelters.
Annual Delt Fund
As
a result of the expressed desire of many alumni
to participate in the Fraternity's growth and
progress, the Alumni Contribution Program was
established in 1967. Thousands of alumni,
through their annual contributions, have
demonstrated their continued interest in the
Fraternity, and through their gifts have helped
the Fraternity provide additional new programs
each year which would not have otherwise been
possible.
Delta Tau Delta Educational Foundation
Incorporated in 1981 and formally announced at
the 1982 Karnea, the Delta Tau Delta Educational
Foundation has as its mission to support the
educational and leadership development programs
of the Fraternity. It is the Delt Foundation’s
goal through the support of alumni contributions
to assemble the best minds in leadership
development, substance abuse prevention, and
values education training to provide the best
programming possible at the college level.
Nearly six thousand alumni gave last year
through major gifts, estate planning, and the
Annual DeltFund. Gifts are fully deductible for
income and estate tax purposes. Grants from the
Foundation support over 26% of the Fraternity’s
operations ($473,130 in 2003-2004).
